Best Paper Award at IIChE CHEMCON 2025

A research paper on biocatalysis, based on the doctoral research of Mr. Murugappan, IITH alumnus and a JICA long-term trainee, received the Best Paper Award at the Indian Chemical Engineering Congress 2025 (IIChE CHEMCON 2025), held from 27 to 30 December 2025.

After completing his master’s degree at IITH, Mr. Murugappan came to Japan in September 2023 and is currently conducting research at the University of Tokyo.
