JICA FRIENDSHIP 2.0 Fellowship

The JICA FRIENDSHIP 2.0 Fellowship for New Partnerships 2026 was launched in January 2026.

This fellowship aims to support new academic partnerships between IITH and Japanese universities and research institutions.

The program provides travel support for IITH faculty members and their master’s and doctoral students to visit their Japanese partner laboratories and promote academic exchange.

Through these exchanges, the fellowship is expected to facilitate the development of future joint research and co-supervision plans, as well as discussions on securing external research funding to realize such collaborations.
