Japanese Language Course

The Japan Culture Center at IIT Hyderabad (IITH) was established in November 2025 to promote academic collaboration and cultural exchange between India and Japan. The Center serves as a hub for Japanese language education, cultural orientation, and academic engagement, supporting students and scholars involved in Japan-related programs.

As part of this initiative, the Japan Culture Center will offer a free, online introductory Japanese language course for IITH students selected under the JST LOTUS Programme 2025. The course is scheduled to begin in February 2026..

This course is expected to provide valuable preparation for students participating in research exchanges in Japan, helping them gain basic language skills to make their stay in Japan more meaningful and productive.
